Welcome to Fightaids Ghana

Founded in July 2009, Fightaids Ghana is an NGO dedicated to working on the issues of the poor by supporting, educating, training in different skills and job creation.

Fightaids Ghana aims to improve the current state of AIDS victims, the poor and carry out activities together with local organizations in Ghana and the world beyond to meet the Millennium Development Goals MDG of improve health and cutting off poverty.

We are always accepting volunteers to share in carrying out these activities. We deploy volunteers for short and mid-length assignments in Ghana, and we look forward to enthusiastic people, so please inquire if you are interested!

SUPPORTING THE POOR, NEEDY AND HIV/AIDS VICTIMS

1. SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT BASED ON THE BIBLE:

Provide people with an opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and to respond to it with respect and love.

2. EDUCATION:

We train the poor and the destitude to enable them to acquire Government approved education without interruption. Training people in Information Communication Technology( ICT) to close the digital divide. We educate on STD’s; especially HIV/AIDS and the measures to take to avoid contacting the disease..

3. PRIMARY HEALTH CARE AND SUPPORT:

We give access to preventive and curative health care and support by providing antiretroviral drugs and refer to hospitals in some cases.

4. SOCIAL UPBRINGING:

We hold seminars and organise social events to uphold the highest etiquette and utmost moral guidance.

5.MICRO-ENTERPRISE/POVERTY ALLEVIATION:

We are committed to establish the career of these children by creating jobs and micro enterprises and to train them into “tentmakers” .

The book of Exodus 6:68 says, “I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm. I will take you as my people, and I will be your God, and I will bring you into the land which I swore to give, and I will give it to you as heritage: I am the Lord.”
