Fightaids Ghana seeks the services of an International Project Manager to oversea overall Project Planning and Implementation to meet the objectives of the NGO.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support on the design and implementation of a wining proposals for award of projects.

• Work to strengthen monitoring and evaluation of HIV programs.

• Provide technical and logistic support for country and headquarter operating plan development, review, and implementation.

• Promote Fightaids Ghana's collaboration and strengthen coordination with other multinational partners involved in our objectives, such as WHO and UNICEF, Global Fund, World Bank, and others.

• Attend appropriate technical meetings and workshops, and participate in relevant training events related to HIV and poverty reduction.

• Help raise funds for the organisation.

Other tasks or responsibilities may be assigned based on (a) organizational and programming need and/or (b) the project Manager's own interests.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment. In addition, a degree or master’s degree in international and/or public health highly desirable.

• Minimum 5 years’ public health related experience with at least two to 3 years’ experience in AIDS in resource challenged settings.

• Demonstrated ability to manage, design, implement, and evaluate HIV prevention and treatment programs in developing country settings.

• High level of judgment, maturity, ingenuity and originality to develop strategies, and to analyze, develop, monitor, and evaluate program implementation

• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and teambuilding skills/experience required

• Demonstrated ability in maintaining close counterpart relationships, both governmental and in the partner community is highly preferred

• Ability to work independently with light supervisionw, Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills

• Computer Skills
